How To Adopt a Cat From The Urban Cat Project
The Urban Cat Project seeks the finest homes
for our rescued felines.
Our Adoption Process
1. Speak with a representative over the phone about the cat you
are interested in.

2. Meet the cat at our shelter. Please note: Our shelter
is open
by appointment only.
3. Complete an adoption application.
4. You may be asked for a veterinarian's reference or to allow
a home visit, depending on the cat and circumstances, ie we may want to meet
your other family members or other cat(s) etc to be sure it is a match.
The Urban Cat Project encourages a trial period. If for any reason
the cat you adopt is not a match, you may return the cat to us at any time.
We do not deposit your adoption fee until you let us know you want to keep
the cat.
In most cases, this entire process takes
only a day. Each animal we rescue receives individual care and attention,
wet and dry food, and professional grooming when needed. We seek to
find our lucky felines the best homes available. All of the
cats are spayed or neutered, and tested for FIV/FELV. Most cats
are fully vaccinated and most are microchipped. Please call for details!
There is a $75.00 adoption fee.
